Woodfired Bathtubs is a labour of love for our founder Sonny Vrebac, who enjoyed first-hand the
connection to nature and body that comes from wood-fired bathing, and immediately fell in love with the tradition.
“I can’t really put into words the spirit of it. I didn’t know how to light a fire properly and was new to the
‘slow living’ movement, but after one soak – and the meditation of lighting the flame, warming and
stirring the water, and then relaxing to the crackle of the wood-fire – I immediately understood the
relaxing and spiritual nature of it. I just kept thinking how amazing it is to enjoy the fruits of your own
efforts and slow down.”
Sonny has now partnered with Swedish designer and artist Per Enoksson and his company Hikki
to bring these beautiful Swedish-made bathtubs to Australia, so that his fellow countryman can enjoy the same
life changing soak that he did.
Sonny is also the owner and operator of Bubbletent Australia , a unique eco resort located on a breathtaking 1000+ acre nature site nestled between Lithgow and Mudgee, 200km northwest of Sydney.
The Bubbletent Australia experience allows for incredible landscape and stargazing views from the comfort of a state-of-the-art glamping dome tent, with each bubble tent also having access to its own woodfired bathtub for the ultimate in relaxation.
